Porsche AG is exiting the DAX, joined by Sartorius, with ISS Stoxx moving them to the MDAX. They’ll be replaced by GEA and Scout24, moving up from MDAX to the DAX. Porsche Automobil Holding SE remains in the DAX as VW’s largest shareholder. The exit highlights strain in the German auto sector, as Porsche’s VW subsidiary grapples with weak sales and the stock is down about a third over the past year. The changes take effect on 22 September as part of a broader reform of the DAX and MDAX. Separately, MDAX constituents shift: Fielmann moves from SDAX to MDAX, pushing Evotec out; in SDAX, 1&1 replaces SGL Carbon; in TecDAX, 1&1 replaces Formycon. The Cellforce battery-cell venture, a Porsche subsidiary, will not materialize as planned. These index moves can prompt fund managers to rebalance, with potential short-term moves in the affected shares.

German Grumble is Germany’s most unapologetically honest news outlet — delivering bold opinions, dramatic overreactions, and uncomfortable truths the mainstream media refuses to grumble about. Staffed by a rotating cast of deeply committed (and emotionally unstable) fictional experts, we tackle the nation's most pressing issues: political absurdity, cultural decline, and why your neighbor definitely voted wrong. Supported by Active Investigators, we go beyond speculation — we draw wild conclusions. If you're tired of facts getting in the way of your feelings, you've found your home.
